Twice a day, every day, somebody bends down and fills this. White ceramic, glazed, six inches across and sixteen ounces — a real bowl, dishwasher and microwave safe. The design wraps around half of it, which is the half they end up looking at while they crouch there with the scoop. Ours goes on unless theirs does, with their blessing, and there is room along the top for a name. The dog does not care. That is not who it is for.
